Hospitality
The artworks represented in this publication respond to and enhance the discussion of hospitality, a project welcomed by the spaces of Bath Abbey. As the building’s meanings and material are transformed by the approach, experience and interpretation of the visitor, so the artworks consider a constellation of notions of hospitality such as reception, the convivial and social, the communal, and the roles of host, guest and participant.
